Our Team

Spring Medical Group (SMG) is a hybrid medical practice designed to provide health care services to the residents and visitors of the local communities on the Central Coast NSW and beyond. It aims to provide care in general practice, emergency medicine, minor trauma and injuries, imaging and pathology services to patients in a quick, safe and timely manner, on the same site.

Spring medical group is staffed by experienced GPs, Emergency Specialists and doctors, experienced nurses and allied health experts.

Sharon Crowther

Registered Podiatrist & Pedorthist

Sharon has a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Pedorthics from Southern Cross University of Queensland and is experienced in all aspects of podiatric foot care. She has a special interest in orthopaedic footwear to assist in the treatment of diabetic, arthritic and neurological conditions for adults and children.Contact SMG

Dr Manoj Baruah

Psychiatrist

Dr Baruah is a Psychiatrist with 22 years’ post graduate experience thus far. He has been working in Australia as a registered doctor since 2008 - mainly in the hospital setting. He is a fully qualified psychiatrist. He has worked with the National Home Doctor service as a depositing Medical officer and also has overseas experience as a GP in India.

Dr Gabriel Akra is an experienced GP and ED Specialist that has practiced on the Central Coast for several years.
